Robert van Alphen (1957) graduated from the AKI art academy in 1980 and the Dutch Film Academy in 1984. He started working at the Dutch Cinema Newsreel company Polygoon and after 4 years at filmproduction company Toonder Studio’s. Since 1996, he works as an independent director/cinematographer, making audio-visual productions, TV programs and documentaries.
